Yellow-browed Warbler
Lade - 0700hrs - mild, cloudy, nw 2 - The usual light passage of finches, Mipits and a couple of Skylarks passed overhead around dawn. The only other evidence of migration concerned several Swallows over the desert and a few Chiffchaffs and Blackcaps in the bushes.

James, there`s no set best autumn dates for Firecrests at Dungeness. They can occur anytime between Sep-Nov, but more often than not when there is settled weather associated with an easterly airflow. A few also winter around the bird reserve, while March is the best spring month.
